Catherine Ordonez is the owner of Maverick’s Speech Therapy, LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Catherine has practiced as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of adult settings, including outpatient rehabilitation, and home health.
Catherine believes in helping adults regain communication to maintain their social lives and strengthen their interactions with family and friends. Catherine enjoys building relationships with patients and being able to provide patient care from diagnosis through rehabilitation. Catherine goes above and beyond making sure her clients and their families feel comfortable.
Catherine specializes in treating adults with neurological impairments affecting cognition, voice, language, and swallow function. Catherine is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD®) and SPEAK OUT!®, a speech therapy program developed by Parkinson Voice Project. She is also certified in McNeill Dysphagia Therapy (MDTP) is a systematic exercise-based approach to dysphagia therapy in adults. She is also a member of the National Aphasia Association, Alzheimer’s Association, and Aphasia Access. She is licensed in the State of Florida and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
